WAIHEKE RESOURCE RECOVERY PARK

It’s time for us to rethink waste.

The Waiheke Community Resource Recovery Park (CRRP), is where you can drop off unwanted items and materials for reuse and recycling. Building materials, plumbing items and much more is available for purchase at the yard. The aim is to reduce waste to landfill by reusing, re-purposing and recycling as much as possible. The Waiheke Zero Waste Partnership – made up of the Waiheke branch of Programmed New Zealand and local community organisations, Island Waste Collective and Clean Island – is running the operation in collaboration with Auckland Council.

The CRRP will help us all to reuse, repurpose, upcycle, and recycle our unwanted items – to turn waste into a resource and keep it out of the landfill. Keeping it local and building a sustainable future – by Waiheke, for Waiheke.

The shop sells household goods, clothing, and upcycled crafts and treasures - pop in and see if we have anything you might fancy!
