The Waiheke Resources Trust (WRT) aims to support a model Zero Waste community where living zero waste is the norm on Waiheke Island. Over 18 years, they've contributed to waste minimisation, improved environmental outcomes and community wellbeing. 

They are partnering with Auckland Council to help people on Waiheke reduce waste and achieve sustainability. 

• Delivering the Compost Collective workshops and assisting community gardens

• Supporting Zero Waste Events on Waiheke

• Preventing food waste at home, through Kai Conscious and Waiheke Potluck Dinners

•  Initiating the reduction in single-use takeaway containers.
